1st line = noun
2nd       = two adjectives
3rd       = verb + adverb
4th       = begins with "like" and presents a comparison
5th       = starts with "if only" and expresses a wish

Phony and false
Lying desperately
Like a mocking bird
If only I had the key to the bird cage
