Evil Creatures on Mars

With a year passed, I still remember the very first day I got here in search of aliens. The pile of skeleton aside me was my teammate, Alex. When our spaceship crashed due to the attack of aliens, aliens swamped into the cabin, hauled Alex out, cracked his skull like a nut and desperately devoured his brain. Blood splashed all over the ground and merged into the red soil of Mars. The intense smell of iron lingered in the air. I immediately sneaked out of our spaceship through the backdoor and ran away without looking back.

Running for some ten miles, I looked back, let out a sigh of relief and began to walk till a steel-made mansion in sight. “Thank God! Here I’ve got my alliance,” I mumbled with excitement. Next second, the door opened with a squeak. An alien stride out no sooner than I realized that the sanctuary had been taken over and ran away again with my head filled with the appalling appearance of aliens. They have slimy green skin, bony claws with sharp long steel nails which make ripping off humans’ chest a piece of cake. They have caved-in eyes like black holes and bloody ragged mouths drooling pungent saliva. A hand of human abruptly reached out of a hole in front of me and grabbed me by the leg. I stumbled into an underground tunnel. “Hush…. I crept out of the vent before they swamped in,” explained Aden, who traveled with Alex and me.

As we got backed to our spaceship, we saw aliens lay dead aside Alex’s dissected body. There were purple rashes on aliens’ cadaver. An epiphany struck me. I collected Alex’s flesh and paced around aimlessly. We threw a piece of flesh at each alien we encountered. They ate them and got allergic to it as I presumed. As the population of aliens decreased, Aden and I found the way to manipulate aliens. By feeding them the food form earth, they will become unconscious and abide by the dictation. It was very likely that everything from the earth are lethal or poisonous for them.
It has been a year since my arrival. I am living a carefree life with Aden. We will keep Alex’s skeleton forever as if he had never left. If you happen to travel to space, do not forget to drop by!

Classification of University Students

Instruction: Come up with 4 or 5 stereotypes of Taiwanese students and write a brief description for each stereotype.

Club guys

This club does not mean “pubs” or “bars”, but the clubs in school, such as dancing clubs and varsities. Club guys are highly devoted in the club as it plays an essential part in their college life. They are enthusiastic and good at socializing more often than not. Thus, they are popular and welcome among peers.

Nerds

They are attentive to their studies. They are obsessed to a particular subject, crave for detailed knowledge and pursue extraordinary academic performance or achievements. They tend to have few friends owing to their poor interpersonal skills.

Preps (fancy guys)

This type of people tend to be more fashionable than others around them. They enjoy reading fashion magazines, follow the latest trends, and purchase plenty of cosmetics as well as clothes. Before going out, they (female) would definitely wear make-up because they are like fish out of water going anywhere without make-up. Preps usually catch everyone’s eyes while walking on the street. They are the ones who are always on the cutting edge of fashion.

Geeks (otaku)

These people usually stay at home, watching animations all day long. Also, they play video games sometimes. They cannot live without these things. Simply put, their heads are always full of animations, Japanese and video games.
